WE PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE BIH"

Weltplast actively participated in the First International Conference on Sustainable Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, titled 'Building a Sustainable Bosnia and Herzegovina.' We had the honor of being a part of this remarkable event and contributing to discussions on sustainability.

ESG BH UZOD, under the high patronage of the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mrs. Lidija Bradara, the Vice President of the Republika Srpska, Dr. Davor Pranjić, the Mayor of the Brčko District, Dr. Zijad Nišić, and the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, led by Minister Prof. Dr. Nasih Pozder – as the Chairperson of the Scientific Committee of the conference, organized a significant international conference titled 'BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE BiH,' which took place on October 19 and 20, 2023, at the Hotel Hills Sarajevo. The conference was supported by the International Institute for Climate Action (IICA).

Mrs. Jelena Čačulović, Executive Director, presented Weltplast as a pioneer of sustainable and circular business practices. In her presentation, she showcased examples of why Weltplast genuinely lives sustainability and circularity in every aspect of our business, not just today but for many years. Weltplast has always been committed to environmental preservation, and this is possible thanks to the dedication of the Širić family, the founders, and the entire Weltplast team. We proudly shared our story at the conference, exploring ways to enhance sustainable management at Weltplast.
